Larry George Williams, 76, of Campbellsville, KY was born February 15, 1949 in Taylor County, KY to the late George Thomas Williams and Allene Cowherd Williams. He departed this life peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his home.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and joined First Baptist Church of Campbellsville at an early age. He was a barber and served 20 years in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst for NATO. After retiring from the military, he worked at Cox Interior for 15 years. He enjoyed being outside mowing grass, working in his garage and hanging out with his friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Webb.

1 sister: Rebecca Ann Henry (James) of Oswego, Ill

Aunt: Sophia Greene of Newport News, Virginia

Mother-in-Law: Mary Ann Ford of Louisville, KY

Graveside Service: Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 1:00pmCT at Green County Memory Gardens in the Summersville Community of Green County with Dr. O.B. Ford officiating, with full military honors by the Marion County Veteran’s Honor Guard
