James Kevin Wright, 62, of Summersville, KY, son of Jamie Mae (Jaggers) Wright and the late Bernie Edward “Buddy” Wright, was born in Ft. Carson, Colorado on December 10, 1962. He departed this life on Sunday, July 20, 2025 in Lexington, KY at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was non-denominational in his beliefs. Mr. Wright was a talented bodyman and was the owner of Wright’s Rebuildables. If you knew him, you loved him – and he knew many, many people. His genuine kindness and good heart glued his family together, and that love will continue to hold them together.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at 1:00 PM EDT (12:00 PM CDT) in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY

Burial: Aetna Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 23, from 10:00 AM EDT (9:00 AM CDT) until time for the service
