Lois Melton, 91, Campbellsville, KY

 

Lois Melton, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late E.O. Clark and Olsie Mae Davis Clark, was born June 29, 1934 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 7:54amET on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in Campbellsville. 

 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Lois was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She enjoyed quilting and doing word search puzzles.

 

Lois united in marriage to Charles W. Melton on June 14, 1952 and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2011.

 

SURVIVORS:

2 sons & 1 daughter: Chuck Melton & wife Sharon, Mike Melton & wife Catherine, and Maria Pike of Campbellsville

6 grandchildren: Ronald Melton & wife Sara of Clarksville, Tennessee, Steven Melton & wife Vanessa, Sarah Rexroat & husband Kelly, Andrew Pike & significant other Sydney Cotter, and Tasha Walls & husband Chase of Campbellsville, and Jacob Melton & wife Ali of Nicholasville

12 great-grandchildren: Kyla Melton, Koben Melton, Danielle Wright & husband Clay, Kinley Walls, Catherine Rexroat, Chloe Rexroat, Charlotte Rexroat, Christine Rexroat, Landon Rexroat, Christa Rexroat, Taylor Rexroat, and Cailyn Rexroat

2 great-great-grandchildren: Adrian Torres and Aliyah Torres

5 sisters: Mary Stubbs, Ina Martin, Sharon Robinson, Sara Brockman & husband Jesse, and Emma Sharp & husband Kenneth of Campbellsville

Mny other relatives & friends

 

Lois was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Mark Pike and one brother and two sisters: Larry Clark, Peggy Clark Sublett and Jane Catherine Clark.
