Margaret Durham Perkins, 88, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Richard A. Durham and Flossie Patrum Durham, was born September 29, 1936 in Greensburg, KY. She died at 4:35pmET on Friday, June 20, 2025 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. Margaret was a retired bookkeeper at Ingersoll Rand.

She united in marriage to Walter Harold Perkins January 12, 1962 and he preceded her in death January 13, 2020.

Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great- grandmother and enjoyed spending her time reading and bird watching.

She is survived by one son and one daughter: Roy Stephen Parker and Shari Perkins Walters (Timmy Nicholas) of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Kelly Parker and Stephen Parker of Campbellsville, Cianna Walters of Crestwood, and Cicely Mwizerwa & husband Tim of Nashville, TN; six great-grandchildren; one sister: Marcia Alcorn of Gallatin, TN

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Earnest Durham, Wayne Durham, Jean Denney, Billie Chapman, and Barbara Simmons.
