Betty Catherine Pepper Beams, 83, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Shreve Pepper and Sybil Jeffries Pepper, was born on October 6, 1941 in Greensburg and departed this life on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Green River Trails Nursing Home. 

Betty had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Sandlick Separate Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, loved her flowers, working in her garden, and spending time with her family.

She was united in marriage to Garnett Beams on September 23, 1961, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2022.

SURVIVORS:

1 son & daughter-in-law: Joe & Jackie Beams of Greensburg

2 brothers: Gary Pepper and James Pepper

4 sisters: Bonnie Nolley, Beverly Bloyd, Debbie James, and Karen Bland

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Angela Beams; two grandchildren: Carrie Ann Beams and Aaron Joseph Beams; and a brother, David Pepper.
