Buford “Tom” Tungate Jr., 77, of the Acton Community of Taylor County, KY, a son of the late Buford Thomas Tungate Sr. and Viola Noel Tungate, was born September 23, 1947 in Danville, IL and departed this life on June 11, 2025 at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Hodgenville, KY.
He professed faith in Christ and attended the Farmers Chapel Church of God. Tom enjoyed camping and being outdoors. He was a veteran and served his country honorably in the United States Army in Korea.

Special aunt: Margaret Doris Noel of Tennessee

Graveside Service: Friday, June 13, 2025 at 1:00pmET at the Brookside Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard and Bro. Steve Orr will be officiating
There will be NO public visitation prior to the service.
