Robert Douglas Phillips, 95, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Lawrence William and Bertie (Eads) Phillips, was born March 19, 1930 in Illinois and departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2025 in Elizabethtown at the Baptist Health Hardin. 

He was a farmer and former brick layer and was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed chasing his cows on the farm and spending time with family and friends.

5 grandchildren: MaKayla Giles & husband Tim, Katilynn Martin & husband Paul, Kody Phillips & wife Allison, Wade Pike & wife Ashley, Corey Pike & wife JoAnn

3 great-grandchildren: Kinslee Ann Giles, Rhett Ashcraft and Addisyn Ashcraft

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service: Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating

Interment: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: After 11:00amET on Thursday
