Vivian Lynn (Brummett) Godby, 63, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late James Brummett and Thelma (Flanagan) Brown, was born September 1, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio and departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
She was a former secretary and factory worker, and was of the Baptist Faith. Vivian was known to have a green thumb and loved raising flowers and vegetables, especially sunflowers.

1 daughter: Athena Christine Whittaker & husband Donald of Carrollton
1 sister: Anita Burton & husband Bradley of Campbellsville
5 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Hannah, Emery, Briella, and Gavin
3 great-grandchildren: Dallas, Remington, and Trace
Her companion: Richard Johnson and his children
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alyssa Baker; a sister, Sharon Brummett; and three brothers: Robert, Kenneth, and Raymond Brummett.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 3:00pmET in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Nathan Rayburn officiating
INTERMENT: Old Paint Lick Cemetery, Manse Rd, Paint Lick, KY
VISITATION: Saturday from 11:00am-3:00pmET at the funeral home
