Dora Francis Vaughn Slinker, 100, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Philmore Vaughn and Dora Durham Vaughn, was born on January 23, 1925 in Green County, KY and departed this life early Sunday morning, May 25, 2025 at the home of her daughter in Greensburg.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. She was retired as a lunchroom employee for the Green County School System, farmed and loved to quilt.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Copley Clark Slinker on March 14, 2018 having united in marriage on November 4, 1942; a son, Gary Clark Slinker on September 5, 2002; and by two brothers and a sister: Joseph Vaughn, Armond Vaughn, and Golda Tate.

Daughter-in-law: Martha Riggs Slinker of Richmond
6 grandchildren: Jeremy Slinker of Richmond, Israel Slinker, Brady Matney, Barry Matney, Steve Matney, and Debbie Aaron all of Greensburg

Burial: Little Barren Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
