Jerry Johnson, 71, of Campbellsville, KY was born in Taylor County on November 6, 1953 to the late George T. and Captola (Caldwell) Johnson. He departed this life on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital.

Although his earthly life was wrought with hardship from birth, he had a love for others and shared it to the best of his ability. May his heavenly body be free from afflictions, and his eternity be full of joy.

He was also preceded in death by eight siblings: Martha Dye, Paul Johnson, Oliver Johnson, George Henry Johnson, Ernest Ray Johnson, Leon Johnson, Beatrice Johnson, and Harold Johnson and three step-siblings: Deborah Coulter, Theresa Coulter, and Joyce Barnett.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY with  Rev. Michael Caldwell officiating

Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery 

Visitation: After 12:00pmET on Wednesday at the funeral home
