Jack Frederick Ganzer, 96, of Louisville, KY passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 surrounded by family.

He was a native of Kansas City MO, a retired cartographer for the Civil Defense Mapping Agency, a Kentucky Colonel, and a Marine Korean War Veteran. His Christian faith brought meaning to his life and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Cordes Ganzer; a daughter, Sarah Ganzer; and sisters: Betty Baumann, Irene Myers, and Olivia Lakey.

3 daughters: Nancy J. Stearman and Otha Ray of Greensburg, Emily L. Williams (Jeffrey) and Martha G. Kiefer (Mike)

Grandchildren: Jason Eisenmenger, Kristin Sanders, Matthew Stearman, Alexa Phelps, Jessica Villarreal, Dallas Schedule, Jennifer Kiefer and Brian Kiefe

Great grandchildren: Jacob Villarreal, Peter Villarreal Jr., Adler Stearman, Kaitlyn Schaefer, Shelby Shelton, Isis Eisenmenger and Eden Eisenmenger

His funeral service was conducted Monday, May 5, 2025 at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home in Louisville with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary which can be made at Ratterman Embry Bosse Funeral Home or at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.
