Jody Yates, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, a son of the late Eddie Lee Yates and Rinnia Sanders Yates, was born January 18, 1946 in Marion County, KY. He died at 7:53 P.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 in Campbellsville. 

Jody professed faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom for several years in Campbellsville. Jody loved to hunt and collect his treasures.

His wife of 59 years: Sue Newcomb Yates of Campbellsville

2 sons: Ronnie Yates & wife Mia and John Yates & wife Joye of Campbellsville

2 daughters: Dana Warren & husband Wes and Gina Sapp & husband Brett of Campbellsville

9 grandchildren: Tyler Yates, Chanci Yates, Hunter Yates, Drew Sapp, Blake Sapp, Shelbie Mackie, Dillan Thompson, Natalie Warren and Mikayla Warren

11 great-grandchildren

Jody was also preceded in death by two sisters: Judy Yates and Diane Kiethley.
