Michael Eugene Perkins, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Doris (Perkins) Deering, was born April 21, 1956 in Taylor County and departed this life on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital.

He was a former bridge builder and Fruit of the Loom employee, and was of the Baptist Faith. Michael enjoyed fishing, but working on cars and motorcycles was his pride and joy.

Besides his mother, he was preceded in death his step-father, Bobby Deering and a brother, Terry Thorpe.

His wife of 43 years: Annette (Garrett) Perkins

2 sons: Joshua Perkins and Jeremy Perkins & wife Breeanna, both of Campbellsville

1 sister: Connie Gullett of Louisville

4 grandchildren: Jaxon, Mia, and Carson Perkins, and Jacob Gunter, Jr.
