Peggy Sue Thompson, 63, daughter of Gelois Wheeler Edwards of Greensburg and the late Arlin Parrish Edwards, was born on March 27, 1962 in Adair County and departed this life on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow.
Peggy had made a profession of faith in Christ in her younger years at Bethlehem Baptist Church. She worked at Cox Cabinet but worked in Childcare at TLC and at her home for most of her career.

4 sons & daughters-in-law: Allen & Anna Ray, Michael & Emily Ray, Chris & Anna Ray, and Anthony & Candace Curry all of Greensburg
13 grandchildren: Sydney Kean, Cody Ray, Nathan Ray, Jackson Ray, Jensen Ray, Harper Ray, Kenzie Ray, Brooklyn Ray, Zaelynn Ray, Ryker Ray, Kennedy Ray, Kadence Ray, Wade Drexel Curry; one great-grandchild and one on the way; 3 sisters & brothers-in-law: Carolyn & Freddie Whitlow, Buffy & Mark Jessie, and Donna Edwards
2 brothers & a sister-in-law: Arlin & Melissa Edwards and Bobby Edwards
A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends
Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Annie Edwards and one granddaughter, Lydia Ray.
