David Hensley Jr., 78, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late David Hensley Sr. and Mary Eula Priddy Hensley, was born on October 19, 1946 in Clovis, California and departed this life on Friday, April 11, 2025 in Campbellsville.
David was of the Baptist Faith and a former employee of Cox Interior. He enjoyed watching old westerns, '57 Chevy’s (and other old cars), pinto beans & cornbread, and a good glass of sweet tea.

His wife of 53 years: Mary Harris Hensley of Campbellsville
3 children: Charles Hensley of Campbellsville, Lisa Cox & husband Russell of Greensburg, and Robert Hensley of Campbellsville
2 grandchildren: Tyler Cox and Nicholas Cox
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Norman Cox and Gene Shines.

INTERMENT: Mt. Washington Cemetery
