Larry Charles Jessie, 78, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Charles Reuben and Audra Nevelyn (Redford) Jessie, was born November 14, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center.
He was a retired veteran, having served in the United States Air Force and was a Railroad Engineer having worked for Northwestern and Union Pacific.

3 children: Nickie Terry & husband Michael of Campbellsville, John-Charles Jessie of Shelbyville, and Amber Taraszka of Crystal Lake, Illinois
2 sisters: Linda Jones of Wisconsin and Deborah Roddy & husband Vernon of Campbellsville
1 brother: Dan Jessie of New York
2 grandchildren: Sawyer Phoenix Lange and Cody James Taraszka
A host of other relatives & friends
His dog: Bella
To honor the request of Larry, cremation rites were chosen and no formal services are scheduled at this time.
