Roger Dale Purvis, 76, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late William Thomas Purvis and Aldie Jane Morris Purvis, was born on June 25, 1948 in Taylor County, KY. He departed this life on Friday, March 21, 2025 at his residence.

Roger had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and was a lifelong farmer.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Beshears Purvis, having united in marriage on November 20, 1969.

Grandchildren: Robert Jr., Chasity and TC Moore, Blake, Dakota, Noelle, Austin, Brianna, Faith, Remi, Jordan, Landon, Paige, Madison, Lily, Chloe and Dakota R.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 12:00pmCT at Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. David Mitchell and Bro. Raymond Hollins officiating

Burial: Pleasant Valley Cemetery
 

Visitation: Monday from 5:00pm-8:00pmCT and Tuesday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home.
