Rose Rita Rogers Houk, 74, of the Exie community of Green County, KY, daughter of the late Arvist Rogers and Maerine Patterson Rogers, was born on September 6, 1950 in Greensburg and departed this life on Monday, March 24, 2025 at her sons home in Horse Cave. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Riverside Baptist Church. She loved spending time in the garden, loved animals, and most importantly loved the Lord.

She was united in marriage to Donnie Odell Houk on September 9, 1967, who preceded her in death on May 11, 2023.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister: Donalds Rogers, Wilburn Rogers, and Jean Milby.

Visitation: Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Monday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Lee Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
