Calvin L. Burris, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, a son of the late Robert Allen Burris and Icolene Maupin Burris, was born January 22, 1940 in Adair County, KY. He died at 1:10pmET on Monday, March 17, 2025 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon. Calvin retired from Houchens in 2001 after 39 years of service. He enjoyed playing golf and working on golf carts with Tom Gupton. Other hobbies included traveling, camping and fishing with his sons.

4 grandchildren: Lauren Farley & husband Jordan of Spring Hill, TN, Charlie Burris & wife Allison of Knoxville, TN, Lily Burris of Bowling Green, KY and Nathaniel Burris of Knoxville, TN

1 sister: Carolyn Rutherford of Salem, IN

Sister-in-law: Jewel Burris of Campbellsville, KY

Calvin was also preceded in death by two brothers: J.C. Burris and Russell Burris.
