David Lee Miller, 81, of Cane Valley, KY, the son of the late Bert Lee Miller and Georgia Ann Bridgewater Miller, was born September 28, 1943 and departed this life on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital.

Mr. Miller professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a veteran having served his country honorably in the United States Army in Vietnam. Mr. Miller was a former caretaker of the Bridgewater-Groves-Caldwell Cemetery and just “worked all the time”, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

1 daughter: Rochelle Brady & husband Al of Campbellsville
1 grandson: Chanson Atkinson (Chloe)
2 great-grandsons: Jett and Jrue (along with one expected great-grandchild)
1 brother: Jessie Shrivers of Louisville
1 sister: Betty Jo Harris of Louisville
Special nephew: James David Miller

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Geraldine Miller on Nov. 11, 2023 and one sister, Joyce Rose Miller.

Funeral Service: Monday, March 24, 2025 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville, KY with Rev. Michael Caldwell and Chanson Atkinson officiating

Interment: Bridgewater-Groves-Caldwell Cemetery in the Cane Valley community of Green County with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard

Visitation: After 10:00amET on Monday
