Durward W. Burress, 92, of Union City, Pennsylvania, formerly of Green County, KY passed away peacefully in Erie, Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 2, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents: Lawrence Burress and Ann Elizabeth Bridgewater Burress; three brothers, Frank, Ralph and Charles; a son, David; and a step-grandson, Kevin Shaffer.

2 stepdaughters: Kim Kuberry & husband Ed of Spartansburg, Pennsylvania and Sue Shaffer & husband Tim of Union City, Pennsylvania
2 stepsons: Bob Stevenson & wife Sheryl of Deltona, Florida and Brian Stevenson of Erie, Pennsylvania
Daughter in law: Paula Burress of Falls Church, Virginia
7 grandchildren, a host of step-grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
Cremation was chosen by the family with a memorial service held in Pennsylvania on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
