Mural Gentry, 97, of Louisville, KY (formerly of Green County), daughter of the late Emmett French and Mary Katheryn Morris French, was born July 17, 1927 in Taylor County, KY and departed this life on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Signature Healthcare East in Louisville.
Mrs. Gentry had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church and also attended Arcade Baptist Church. She was a retired line worker for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. and Enro Shirt Company.
Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Richard William Gentry on May 16, 1985 having united in marriage on April 9, 1949; a son, Larry Gene Gentry on August 10, 2010; daughter-in-law, Deborah Gentry on February 14, 2025; twin grandchildren: Josh and Jenna Gentry in January 1985; and two brothers: Hoover French and William French.

1 son: Stanley Wayne Gentry of Mt. Sterling
2 grandchildren: J. Patrick Gentry and Jordan Talbot Gentry & wife Anna Claire, both of Lexington
