Bill Scott, 71, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late William Herbert Scott and Catherine Elizabeth Newton Scott, was born August 19, 1953 in Springfield, Illinois. He died at 10:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Campbellsville. 

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Protestant faith. Bill served his country honorably and was a retiree of the United States Army. He served in the 82nd Airborne Division during Desert Storm. During his career, Bill received the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, two Overseas Service Ribbons, Army Good Conduct Medal – 65th Award, Army Commendation Medal -10LC, Army Achievement Medal – 10LC, 3 Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon and several other awards and medals. He was also a member of the American Legion Edwards-O’Banion Post No. 82. Bill enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing.
