Lydia Adkins Simpson, 73, of Edmonton, KY, formerly of Green County, KY, daughter of the late Jesse Raymond Adkins and Lucille Elmore Adkins, was born on July 14, 1951 in Louisville and departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Norton’s Downtown Hospital in Louisville. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Good News Gospel Church in Glasgow. She worked as a line worker for Fruit of the Loom and Amazon.

Her husband: Junior Simpson of Edmonton

1 daughter & son-in-law: Lois Simpson Estes & Tony of Edmonton

4 grandchildren: Heather Boston, Kyle Boston both of Edmonton, Maria and JR White of Bowling Green, Whitney and Luke Estes of Edmonton.

2 brothers: Robert Adkins and Ricky Adkins both of Greensburg

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters: Margaret Dawson and Josie Adkins; and five brothers: William Adkins, James Adkins, Jerry Adkins, Raymond Lewis Adkins, Patrick Adkins.
