Maxine Blankenship ,77, of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late John D. and Nellie (Hoosier) Goode, was born July 17, 1947 in the Roley community and departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at her home.
She was a homemaker, a caregiver, and of the Baptist Faith. Maxine loved cooking, gardening and the outdoors; she always looked forward to being able to travel, but with her faithfulness to her caring nature, she always put her life on hold so that others could get the care they needed.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy L. Blankenship; and a brother and sister: Lanis Goode and Mary Ellen Dickens.

1 son: Thomas Glen Russell & wife Kimberly of Campbellsville, KY
1 sister: Patty Sullivan & husband Dempsey of Lebanon, KY
4 grandchildren: Dustin Montgomery & wife Kayla, Kyle Montgomery, Demetria Shirrell & husband Brandon, and Candace Bradley & husband Josh
10 great-grandchildren: Max, Maci, Jaxon, Olivia, Klayton, Shaylah, Christopher, Katelyn, Levi and Abel
