Rodger D. Williams, 80, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late David Williams and Eunice Stayton Williams, was born July 28, 1944 in Campbellsville. He departed this life on Monday, January 27, 2025 at his home.
Rodger united in marriage to Ms. Paulette Shipp on May 18th, 1963 (who survives).
Rodger was a retired bus driver for the Taylor County School Systems. He served as a Deputy Sheriff serving under Sheriff John Shipp. He also worked in the family-owned business, Williams Furniture in Elk Horn. Rodger served honorably in the United States Navy. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

2 children: Michelle Leach & husband Brian and Tony Williams, both of Campbellsville
1 granddaughter: Brianne Mingey & husband Seth of Rineyville
1 great-granddaughter: Amory Brooke Mingey of Rineyville

Rodger was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Williams on October 8, 2023.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 7:00pmET at Auberry Funeral Home in downtown Campbellsville
VISITATION: Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5:00pm-8:00pmET at the funeral home
