David Taylor DeSpain, 78, Glasgow, KY

 
David Taylor DeSpain, 78, of Glasgow, KY was born April 7, 1946 in Green County, KY to the late Joseph Foster DeSpain and Mary Lois Bloyd DeSpain. He departed this life Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Shanti Niketan Hospice House in Glasgow, KY.
 
David was an elder at Clear Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a business teacher at Washington County High School and co-owner of Greensburg Bottling Company.  
 
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Benjamin DeSpain.
 
SURVIVORS:
His wife: Marsha DeWeese DeSpain
2 step-children: Erin Lovell (Tracy) and Whitney Taylor (Brent)
2 grandchildren: Kip Taylor and Gideon Lovell
3 brothers: Joe DeSpain (Ann) of Campbellsville, Phil DeSpain (Jeannie) of Tell City, IN, and James DeSpain (Mary) of Greensburg

Funeral Service: Monday, January 27, 2025 at 10:00amCT at Foster-Toler- Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg with Bro. Darrell Pickett officiating
 
Burial: Greensburg Cemetery
 
Visitation: Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 1:00pm-5:00pmCT and Monday after 7:00amCT at the funeral home
 
In lieu of flowers, alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shanti Niketan Hospice House, 1020 Glenview Drive, Glasgow, KY 42141 or to Gideons International. Donations can be made at the funeral home.
