Glenda "Carol" Upchurch, 83, Greensburg, KY

Glenda "Carol" Upchurch, 83, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Paul and Faye McFarland, was born on February 11, 1941 and departed her earthly home on Sunday, January 19, 2025.

Carol married Teddy Arthur Upchurch on October 19, 1955 at the age of 14. They spent 68 wonderful years together before his passing on March 16, 2024.

She professed faith as a young girl who was taken to daytime revival from the one-room school she attended. She was a member of Summershade United Methodist Church, where she fulfilled multiple roles throughout her lifetime. She loved her church and church family. For years, she had a card ministry. She enjoyed working at Emmaus Walks, where you could find her faithfully serving in the prayer chapel. She spent her years of employment with Fruit of the Loom and Green County Middle School.

She had a heart of gold and was always concerned for others. Carol was known for her unwavering love, kindness, and dedication to everyone - a faithful servant of Christ. Her legacy of love and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
