Bobby James Goodrum, Sr., 82, of Campbellsville, KY passed from this life on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was born in Bowling Green on March 25, 1942 to the late James Goodrum and Lucille Grimes Ewing.
Mr. Goodrum had made a profesion of faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. As a young man, he loved working on the family farm, and regaled his family for years with those stories. He was a former employee of Ashland Broadway where he worked as a wrecker driver, and a former employee of the Campbellsville Water Company.
Mr. Goodrum had united in marriage to Janet Childers Woodrum, and they shared a life until her death in 2005.

1 daughter: Shari Scully & husband Kevin of Campbellsville
2 siblings: Kerri Sherman & husband Scott of Pensacola, FL, and Lisa Fletcher & husband Bo of Bull Gap, TN
2 grandchildren: Wesley Goodrum and Savannah Duckworth & husband Sterling
6 great-grandchildren: Wesley, Jr., Maranda, Serenity, James, Destiny, and Evan
Chosen grandson: Brett Williasm & wife Bri, and their child, Houston
A host of extended family members & friends
He was also preceded in death by a son, Bobby Goodrum, Jr.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 1:00pmET in the chapel of L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY
Burial: Brookside Cemetery
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 22, from 10:00amET until time for the service
