Marjorie Sheets, 87, of Danville, KY formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Benjamin Turner Wayne and Annie Mae Deener Wayne, was born October 5, 1937 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 3:55 A.M., Monday, January 13, 2025 in Danville.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Perryville Baptist Church. Marjorie was a retired employee of the State of Kentucky License and Regulation Branch. She loved flowers and always had beautiful gardens. Marjorie had a generous heart and a gentle spirit, especially caring for children. She also enjoyed UK Athletics.

She united in marriage to Ellis Donald Sheets August 1, 1958 and he preceded her in death.

3 daughters: Shari Alexander & husband Doug of Glasgow, Melissa Sheets of Danville and Vicki Kinnaird and Jeff Darr of Liberty

9 grandchildren: Christopher Sheets, Benjamin Sheets, Madalynn Sheets, Joseph Sheets, John Bennett Alexander, Maeghann Morrison & husband Jon, Bryant Kinnaird, Sara Kinnaird, and Emily Kinnaird (Muneed Arshad)

3 great-grandchildren: Thomas Reid Morrison, Adilynn Mae Morrison and Rhett Michael Morrison

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Sheets June 4, 2023 and one brothers and two sisters: James Edward Wayne, Barbara Johnson and Pauline Wayne.
