Robert Olie Larimore, 90, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Olie Larimore and Annabelle Cook Larimore, was born on August 25, 1934 in Greensburg and departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

Robert had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He worked as a cattle farmer and bee farmer. Robert served as the past President and Vice President of the Green County Farm Bureau Board and the Kentucky Farm Bureau Board. He was also a member of the Green County Gideon Camp. Robert was a veteran, having served his country honorably in the United States Army.

Robert was united in marriage for 70 years to Bessie Louise Smith Larimore on February 6, 1954, who preceded him in death on October 18, 2024.

3 sons & daughters-in-law: Byron & Michelle Larimore of Columbia, Gary & Susan Larimore and Barry & Sherree Larimore of Greensburg

5 grandchildren: Lauren Melton of Tennessee, Bethany Brown of Elizabethtown, Kimberly Mullins of Campbellsville, Kyle Larimore of Illinois, and Brett Larimore of Columbia

6 great-grandchildren: Anne Claire, Aidan, Monroe, Annabelle, Cooper, and Caylen

2 step-grandchildren: Shawn Milby of Greensburg and Shae Simpson of Indiana

5 step-great-grandchildren: Chase, Cali, Sydney, Griffin, and Hadley

5 sisters-in-law: Margaret Larimore of Campbellsville, Bernice Ward Despain, Villus Larimore, and Adele Larimore  of Greensburg; Linda Thomas of Florida

A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends

Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cynthia Larimore; a grandchild, Kristen Larimore; and four brothers: Tommy Larimore, Gilbert Larimore, Lawrence Larimore, and Billy Larimore.

Burial: Beech Grove Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard

Visitation: Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Monday after 7:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home
