Matthew Allen Patterson, 62, of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Theodor Patterson and Kathleen Frederick Patterson, was born on July 30, 1962 in Liberty, KY and departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at his home.
Matthew had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was self-employed and operated Patterson Dozer.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Colena Coleman Patterson on January 30, 2015; three brothers: Nathan Patterson, David Patterson, and Daniel Patterson; a sister, Becky Ponder; and a brother-in-law, Mike Ponder.

2 brothers: Mark (& Ann) Patterson of Campbellsville and James Patterson of Greensburg
3 sisters-in-law: Cathy Patterson of Summersville, Connie Patterson of Campbellsville, and Debra Patterson of Greensburg
2 stepdaughters: Gina Kennedy and Shell Kennedy both of Campbellsville
6 step-grandchildren: Lance DeBouse and Aniya Haire of Radcliff, Marissa DeBouse and Caiden Durrett of Greensburg, Colen (& Andrea) Ervin and Nyla Beard of Campbellsville

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 11:00amCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with Bro. Cliffton Sullivan officiating
Burial: Patterson Family Cemetery
Visitation: Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 4:00pm-8:00pmCT and Wednesday after 7:00amCT
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Patterson Family Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
