William LeRoy Trout, 91, of Greensburg, KY passed away at his home on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He was born on July 18, 1933 to the late Luella Viola Madsen and Robert Wesley Trout in Dorris, California.

His family stayed in the high country of California and Oregon until he was around 7 or 8 years old. Then they moved to Idaho and eventually settling in Pocatello, Idaho. Bill graduated from Pocatello High School in 1951. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 until 1961. Bill enjoyed working with horses for a lot of years of his life. He had been a life time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

His children: Kerry L. Trout, Joni D. Blankenship, Julie D. Trout, Annette (Kevin) Gardner, Maria (Michael) Abbene, Michael (Reaksmey) Trout and Tricia (Joe) Kendall

17 grandchildren & 18 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his eldest son, William David Trout, and his brothers: Melvin Trout and Robert Trout. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Gupton-Landrum Funeral Home in Greensburg is in charge of the arrangements.
