Wilma Jean Wise, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late William Webster and Ida Darnell Webster, was born February 17, 1937 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 11:33amET on Friday, December 27, 2024 in Campbellsville. 

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church. Wilma was a retired schoolteacher with the Taylor County School System.

Wilma united in marriage to Valus Wise on November 21, 1962 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1998. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and one sister: William Webster, Robert Webster, Lawrence Webster, Henry Webster, Thomas Webster and Ailene James.

1 son: Brian Wise & wife Jennifer of Charlotte, North Carolina

2 daughters:Jennifer Preston & husband David of Lexington and Leah Bertram & husband John of Campbellsville

5 grandchildren: Nicholas Miller, Joseph Miller & wife Nicole, Adam Wise & fiancé Kerrnya Dort, Grace Dickens & husband Jacob, and Benjamin Bertram & fiancé Catherine Allen

1 great-grandchild: Naomi Miller

2 sisters-in-law: Gladys Roberts and Patricia Webster
