Shawn Thomas Sweeney, 27, of Campbellsville, KY was born on May 10, 1997 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at his residence. 

He was of the Christian Faith and was self-employed doing odd jobs wherever he could. He loved drawing, doing mechanic work, listening to rock music, being outdoors in the sunshine, and especially loved his Mama.

His parents: Michael Lee Sweeney & fiancé Tammy Hancock, and Sheree Lynn Brockman & husband Donnie, all of Campbellsville

2 brothers: Nicholas Depp Glover of Campbellsville and Michael W. Sweeney of Texas

2 sisters: Brook Sheree Sweeney of Lebanon and Rebecca J. Sweeney of Texas

Nephew: Richard L. McDonald

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Gordon and Sandra Rainwater, John H. Sweeney and Ruby M. Sweeney, and his great-grandmother, Marjorie Cave.

Funeral Service: Friday, December 27, 2024 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Rafferty officiating 

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens

Visitation: After 11:00amET on Friday at the funeral home

The family has asked that memorials be donations to the Funeral Expense Fund and those can be made at the funeral home.
