Shirley Kennon, 87, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Lee Reynolds and Gertrude Caulk Reynolds, was born August 11, 1937 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 2:20pmET on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in Campbellsville. 

Shirley professed faith in Christ and was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired CNA with Grandview Nursing Home and later became a hospitality nurse with them. Shirley was a strong Christian and a prayer warrior. She loved her family dearly and spent her time helping others. She also loved singing and yodeling and enjoyed making others laugh. 

SURVIVORS:

2 sons: Daran Kennon & wife Susan of Campbellsville and Lurien Kennon & wife Jeanetta of Smiths Grove

4 grandchildren: Becky VanCleave & husband Robby, Kaitlyn Holden & husband Ethan, Travis Kennon and Miranda Kennon

1 great-grandson: Lee VanCleave

1 foster great-grandchild

1 brother & sister: Bob Reynolds and Eula Durham

Several nieces & nephews

Many other relatives & friends

She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Parnell Reynolds, Aileen Lyon and Leola Rucker.
