Francis Virginia “Ginny” Whitlow, 89, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was born January 28, 1935 to the late Pearl Madden and Raymond Loyall.
Ginny was a loving caregiver, enjoyed fishing, flowers, listening to Southern Gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends. She could shoot a dead shot with her .22 rifle as well! Her family remembers their fondest memories surrounded around her cooking. She made everything with love.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herbert Delano Whitlow; a son-in-law, Bob Hatcher; and a grandson, Ryan Curry.
SURVIVORS:
6 children: Eric Winters (Russell), Glenda Wells (Mark), Reba Harris (Wayne), Genia Whitlow, Carola Whitlow, and Micah Curry
5 grandchildren: Tessa Curry, Jacob Harris, Aundrea Scott, Tanner Whitlow, and Mathisen Whitlow
10 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild
4 siblings: Dora Hundley, Clara Bracken, Norman Creason (Diane) and Tommy Creason

Funeral Service: Monday, December 16, 2024 at 11:00amET at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, KY
Burial: Franklin Crossroads Cemetery
Visitation: Sunday, December 15, 2024 from 2:00pm-6:00pmET and Monday after 9:00amET
