Glenn Douglas Nelson, 60, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Woodrow Nelson and Doris Jean Bodkins Nelson, was born on March 6, 1964 and departed this life on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 in Louisville.
Mr. Nelson was of the Baptist Faith and was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, raising beagles, listening to country music and UK sports. He served his country honorably in the United States Army.

1 daughter: Jacqueline Curtsinger & husband Aaron of Campbellsville
3 grandchildren: Haley Curtsinger, Zachary Curtsinger, and Colton Curtsinger
1 brother Joseph Nelson Sr. (Peggy) of Greensburg
1 sister: Loretta Morgan (Randy Sr.) of Campbellsville
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Herschel Nelson, and Keith Nelson.
Funeral Service: Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 1:00pmET at L.R. Petty Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gerard Flanagan officiating
Burial: Brookside Cemetery with full military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard
Visitation: After 11:00amET on Saturday until time of service
