Elizabeth Irene Estes Boston, 80, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late John William Estes and Birdie Bagby Estes, was born on January 15, 1944 on Mell Ridge in Green County, KY and departed this life on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg. 

Ms. Boston had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a homemaker. She loved to be with her children and talking on the phone.

She was united in marriage to Jackie Neal Boston on September 12, 1964 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2022.

SURVIVORS: 

4 sons: William Underwood of Greensburg, James Underwood of Campbellsville, Terry (& Kay) Boston of Knifley, and Brian (& Misty) Boston of Danville

4 daughters: Elizabeth Thomas of Campbellsville, Sandi (& Charles) Greer and Betsy Harris (& fiancé Jeff Greer) of Columbia, and Maggie Chumbley of Greensburg

1 sister: Nonie Burris of Greensburg

21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren & 5 great-great grandchildren

Special fur baby: Gidget

A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Chester Boston on July 2, 2022; an infant daughter, Birdie Beatrice Boston; and a grandson, Jonathan Boston.

Funeral Service: Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Casey Durrett officiating

Burial: Bowles Cemetery

Visitation: After 10:00amCT on Monday at the funeral home

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Burial Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
