Celia Mae Atwell, 79, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late Burton Campbell and Lena Willis Campbell, was born on August 26, 1945 in Louisville and passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Norton’s Louisville Hospital - Downtown.
Celia had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the East Campbellsville Church of God.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Joe Atwell on January 23, 1971 and he preceded her in death on January 17, 2018.
SURVIVORS:
2 daughters and sons-in-law: Kristi & Rollin Gentry and Jenni & Troy Moore, both of Greensburg
5 grandchildren: TC (& Chasity) Moore, Mackenzie (& Alex) Colvin, Shelby (& Christian) Goodin, Sam Moore, and Grant Karnes
5 great-grandchildren: Fischer, Oliver, Maddie, Grayson, Jaxon, and Odey
3 brothers: George Campbell, Henry Lee Campbell, and Bradley Eugene Campbell
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Atwell on April 2, 1983 and one brother, Garnett Campbell.

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 12:00pmCT at Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY with Bro. Tom Carnahan and Bro. T.C. Moore officiating
Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens
Visitation: After 8:30amCT on Saturday at the funeral home
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the East Campbellsville Church of God Building Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
