Phyllis Tungate, 77, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late Hub Morris and Alma Morris, was born December 18, 1946 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 8:08 P.M, Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in Campbellsville.

Phyllis professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Temple. She was a retired hem sleeve employee with Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and had also worked at Campbellsville Apparel. She was a devoted wife and mother

Her husband of 59 years: Eric Tungate of Campbellsville

1 son: Timmy Tungate & wife Rockie of Greensburg

1 daughter: Tammy Thompson of Campbellsville

6 grandchildren: Kyle Tungate (Sam Allen), Shalyn Perkins (Matthew Perkins), Tyler Thompson (Andrea Bault), Lukas Tungate (Kelly Woody), Landace Tungate (Jeremy DeSpain) and Leaha Tungate

5 great-grandchildren (& one on the way): Jayden Etherton, Thea Tungate, Axton Tungate, Penelope Perkins and Dallas DeSpain

2 special grandchildren: Audrey Judd and Gracie Judd

1 sister: Shirldean Carter of Campbellsville
