Betty E. Johns, 82, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024. She was born on April 14, 1942 to Arthur and Evelyn Upchurch, who preceded her in death.

Betty was a long-time employee of Fruit of the Loom having been a quality control technician. She continued many friendships made from her time at Fruit. Betty will be remembered for her warm spirit, boundless love for her family, and the joy she found in life’s simple pleasures. Her memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Betty’s life was filled with love and beauty, reflected in her passion for hummingbirds and her vibrant décor and landscape, where she nurtured beautiful flowers that mirrored her gentle and caring nature.

5 grandchildren: Amelia Bowen, Jessa, Jaxon, June and Jenny Gaddis

1 brother: Reed Upchurch & wife Shirley

Sister-in-law: Carol Upchurch

Also preceding her in death were two brothers: Teddy and Eddie Upchurch, and two grandsons: Ethan Bowen and Joel Gaddis.

Celebration of Life: Friday, November 22, 2024 at 1:00pmET at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville

Visitation: After 10:00amET on Friday at the funeral home

Burial: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens
