Margaret Kirkland Christie, 85, of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late John Henry Kirkland and Dorothy Marie Ewing Kirkland, was born June 1, 1939 in Marion County, KY. She died at 5:45 A.M., Monday, October 21, 2024 in Campbellsville.
She professed faith in Christ and was a member of First Methodist Church. Margaret was a retired real estate broker and was owner and operator of Christie Realty Company with her husband, Norman, for many years. She was also a homemaker.
Above all, Margaret cherished her family. She is survived by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Margaret’s house was always filled with laughter, warmth and joy- qualities she shared with everyone she met. Margaret will be fondly remembered by the many lives she touched throughout her journey.
She united in marriage to Norman Christie on March 16, 1956 and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2022.

8 grandchildren: Commander Ann Morgan MacDonald (Adam) of Rota, Spain, Chris Tarter (Jenna) of Bowling Green, Matthew Christie (Love) of Knoxville, Tennessee, Kirk Christie (Cathy), John Christie, Amelia Christie (Nehemiah), Jeff Waldron (Amanda) and Eric Waldron of Campbellsville
8 great-grandchildren: Miles Tarter, Ian Tarter, Luke Tarter, Annsley Tarter, Edwin MacDonald, Margaret MacDonald, James MacDonald and Norman R. Ashley
Special niece: Laura Sue Clark
