John Stephens, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late John Sebastian Branam and Martha Frances Robinson, was born February 4, 1943 in Charleston, West Virginia. He died at 11:50 A.M., Wednesday, October 16, 2024 in Campbellsville.

John served his country honorably in the United States Navy in the 64th Attack Squadron. He was a retired police officer with the Lexington Police Department. John was an avid UK fan and golfer. He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. 

He united in marriage to Jan Wright November 19, 1970 celebrating 54 years of marriage.
