Delmar “James” Sallee, 91, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late James Russell Sallee and Hallie Mae Sherrill Sallee, was born February 22, 1933 in Taylor County. He died at 11:50amET on Monday, October 14, 2024 in Campbellsville. 

Mr. Sallee professed faith in Christ and attended Pittman Valley Baptist Church. He was a dairy farmer and a former employee of Taylor County Tire. He loved to go four wheeling, whittling, fishing and horseback riding and spending time with his friends and family.

His wife of 70 years: Janice Veatch Sallee of Campbellsville

1 daughter: Pamela Williams & husband Luke of Campbellsville

1 grandchild: Blake Wright of Campbellsville

3 step-grandchildren: Aaron Williams & wife Krystal, Andrew Williams, and Chris Williams

1 great-grandchild: Laker Thomas Wright

6 step-great-grandchildren

Delmar was also preceded in death by two sisters: Charlotte Sallee and Eladen Sallee Peterson.
