David Bryan Holmes, 67, of Campbellsville, KY, the son of the late Herbert Ray and Janice Gail (Boden) Holmes, was born October 10. 1956 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2024 in Lexington at the UK Medical Center,

He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald Holmes and Dennis Holmes.

4 children: Jamie Kay Holmes & companion Roger of Bardstown, Jeremy David Holmes, Sarah Nicole Bright & husband Richie, and Nicholas Bryan Holmes & wife Brandie, all of Campbellsville

1 brother: Daniel Holmes of Louisville

7 grandchildren: Jarred Gilbert & wife Paige, Chase Gilbert & wife Claira, Gavin Ford, Sierra Houk, and Gage, Jayden Hardin, and Carter Holmes, and Ander Holmes

3 great-grandchildren: Oliver Dziabula, Aurora Dziabula, and PresLee Gilbert
