Carolyn Sue Giles, 83, of Knifley, KY, the daughter of the late William Buford Sherrill and Eula Dixon Sherrill, was born in Adair County, KY on October 4, 1941 and departed this life on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
Carolyn professed faith in Christ and attended the Elk Horn Baptist Church. She was employed by Fruit of The Loom in Campbellsville at the time of its closing, and was a homemaker and a farmer. She enjoyed riding horses, four-wheelers, gardening, and goats.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Hershey Giles, who preceded her in death in 2009 and by two brothers: William Benny Sherrill and Buford Kenny Sherrill.

1 brother: Cebert Sherrill & wife Mary Alice of Louisville
1 sister: Wanda Spires & husband Donnie of Campbellsville
1 grandchild: Nicole Britton (Tyler)
2 great-grandchildren: Tylee Britton and Cole Britton
Following her wishes, cremation was chosen and burial will be at a later date in the Caldwell Chapel Cemetery.
