Jim Beard, 90, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Dennis Beard and Ida Mary Rice Beard, was born July 24, 1934 in Taylor County. He died at 1:00 A.M., Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Campbellsville. 

He was a retired paver and farmer. Jim was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and enjoyed fishing, hunting, cattle farming, and watching the stock market.

He united in marriage to Marvelle Janet Jerde in 1987 and she preceded him in death January 5, 2019.

1 daughter: Lana Wimunc & husband Florian of Florida

2 step-children: Tom Kennedy & wife Theresa of Campbellsville and Carrie Valencia & husband Jorge of Davie, Florida

Several grandchildren & great-grandchildren

Special niece, great-niece, & great-nephew: Tamra Salyer, Chelsea V. Salyer, and James Dustin Salyer

Many other relatives & friends

Jim was also preceded in death by three brothers: J.T. Beard, Kenneth Beard, and Alvin Beard.
