Gerald Davis, 81, of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Arvil Davis and Marguerite Allen Davis, was born August 27, 1943 in Casey County, KY. He died at 5:09amET on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Lexington, KY. 

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Gerald was a retired tool and die maker and a farmer. He was an excellent gardener, but most importantly was a good husband, father and grandfather.

His wife of 62 years: Judy Davis of Campbellsville

2 daughters: Jennifer Schuhmann & husband Jeffrey of Campbellsville and Crystal Tate & husband Travis of Alabama

4 sons: Rob Davis & wife Angela, Jim Davis, and Lewis Davis all of Campbellsville, Matt Davis & wife Missy of Atlanta, GA

5 grandchildren: Bryan Davis, Davis Schuhmann, Jillian Schuhmann, R.C. Tate and Sagan Davis

3 sisters: Nellie Blevins & husband Randy of Casey County, Linda Davis of Louisville, and Lisa Milburn & husband Robbie of Danville

2 brothers: Steve Davis & wife Betty of Bowling Green and Paul Glen Davis & wife Carrie of Florida

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Elizabeth in infancy and a sister, Karen Blevins.
