Mary Ann Matney Anderson, 80, of Greensburg, KY, daughter of the late William L. Matney and Mae Kemp Matney, was born on September 15, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois and departed this life on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Taylor Regional Hospital. 

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greensburg Christian Church. She was retired from Fruit of Loom as a Bind Leg Sewer.

She was united in marriage to Eugene Anderson on November 7, 1964 who preceded her in death on March 16, 2024.

1 son & daughter-in-law: Clinton Keith & Josie Anderson of Mooresville, Indiana

1 daughter: Regina Anderson of Greensburg

3 grandchildren: Felicia & Butch Hill, Brandi Anderson, Joey & Allie Anderson

4 great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Hill, Aquista Anderson, Brayson Cox, and Katon Cox

1 great-great-grandchild: Paisley Ann Anderson

1 sister & brother-in-law: Shirley & Danny Walls

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Wallace Matney, Glen “Moon” Matney, and Bob Kemp and two sisters: Wilma Grawemeyer and Genoice Sexton.

Honoring her wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be no formal services at this time.
 

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donation to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
